Anna Vainer
Anna brings a wealth of experience to this new role. Most recently she spent the last three years as the Director of Hillel at Technion & Haifa University.
Born in Kiev, Ukraine, Anna has lived in Israel from the age of 11. Her experience on an Israel advocacy mission turned into a fifteen-year career in informal Jewish education, facilitating programs and training and learning youth leaders in Israel, the FSU and North America. Upon completing her army service as a lieutenant with honors, Anna held positions in Oranim College of Education and The Jewish Agency for IsraeI. She spent three years in NY as Central Emissary on behalf of Jewish Agency for Israel, specializing on community organizing and program development for Russian-speaking Jews of North America, with a programmatic focus on young adults, artists, and educational staff.
In Israel, she co-founded “Katra - Experiential Learning “ and "Platforma - International Summit for RSJ Community Initiators”.
Anna holds an MBA in Non-Profit Management, a B.A. in Human Services and Political Science, both from Haifa University, and a kid in each arm.
