Ministry of Diaspora Affairs
A Powerful Partnership with the Israeli Government
Since 2014, Israel’s Ministry of Diaspora Affairs has partnered with the JWRP to bring thousands of women to Israel. It believes in the JWRP’s vision that Jewish
women can and will positively transform the world through Jewish values.
In 2016, the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs expanded our partnership and invested in bringing more Israeli women on MOMentum Trips. Following their MOMentum Trips, four local organizations created over 50 events for the 250 Israeli JWRP sisters and their communities, including monthly speaking events, volunteering opportunities, trips around the country, challah bakes, holiday celebrations, and more. Word has spread about the MOMentum experience, attracting hundreds of more Israeli women who want to get involved.
“The Israeli Government is proud to invest in the Jewish Women’s Renaissance Project for three reasons that set it apart from hundreds of other organizations.
First, it has a multiplying effect. Impacting the mother affects the spouse, the children, and the entire family, transforming generations of Jewish people. Secondly, it has changed communities because the enthusiasm that it inspires is contagious
and feeds upon itself. Lastly, the JWRP’s visionary leadership has created a uniquely strong organizational DNA and the organization operates with an extra ‘neshama’ – an additional heart and soul –while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
The movement continues to innovate with new educational programs and specialty trips, and it has been remarkable to see how much the JWRP has done in a very short time span.
I believe that the JWRP is the single most effective program in the Jewish world. It is just what the Jewish community needs.
May we, together, continue to go from strength to strength.”
